The front end cap of the fuel rail is leaking..... valve end is ok. Must the
rail be removed for repair. Can't find anything in faq.

The cap appears to be welded. Any suggestions or info appreciated.

Greetings John,
For a quick cheap fix, get some JB Weld, release the fuel pressure on the rail one evening when you are finished driving for the day/night. Mix the JB Weld and apply it liberally (basically form a complete cover over the end) and let it sit overnite... Problem solved for less than $5. If you do not like the way the end looks you can also pick up a rubber/plastic cap from the hardware store to slip over the end after it has dried...

I tried the JB Weld and it works. It certainly is a great TEMPORARY fix.

Well its all been tried and failed and its not worth burning down the car volvo says its very common and sell the kit which up grades the rail and is a fairly cheap install I have even seen marintex tried and failed do the right thing

Thanks, rwturbo, the repair kit sounds like the right answer. I phoned my local
dealer who finaly found the kit exists but says he has never sold one.
Can you tell me about availability and give me any parts breakdown or
installations instructions? It sure would help.
They want $278 for the fuel rail. Any help is appreciated.
