What's this Bosch module do? 700 1988

In order to remove the clutch pedal from my 745t I had to move an electronics module out of the way of the pivot bolt. What's it for? I was surprised to find it there. It's about an inch thick, 5 inches long and 3 inches tall. There's a large 90degree connector secured to it by screws.

The ECU is behind the passenger's kickpanel, the SRS box is under the driver's seat, what's this one for? Cruise Control?

It is the ABS control unit. The EZK (ignition control) is on the right side of the pedal support assembly.

Probably the ignition control unit. The cruise should be attached just above the left kick panel, and the ignition ECU hangs near the pedals.
