Check those slider pins on front calipers 900

i noticed that when backing up and hitting the brakes going forward(or vise-versa) i would get a pop in the front.i pulled the pins out to lube them and all 4 of them needed it badly but the last one was nearly seized and i had a difficult time getting it out.i used fine sandpaper, steel wool,& scotch brite to clean the pins and brake cleaner sprayed inside where the pins go. there aren't any pops now and if i'd not checked them it would have gotten much worse.i found a blue lube at napa that is for brakes and associated parts.all of the pins were black and gunked up. just a tip!

Checking and lubing the sliders should be standard maintenance when replacing the pads. It is also important to check the condition of the rubber seals.
