Blow off valve 900 1991

Your 1991 940SE originally came with a Garrett T25 turbo. None of the 240Ts, 700 turbos, or 940 turbos had a blow off valve. The 240s did not have a blow off valve or Compressor Bypass Valve (CBV). The Garrett T3 equipped 700 turbo cars had an external CBV mounted on the head. The Mitsubish and Garrett T25 equipped cars had a CBV which is integral with the turbocharger. It is the cylindrical device with the small rubber hose attached to it on the discharge side of the turbo. It is held to the turbo by three screws. You can see it in the upper right of the picture.
