I have a loose ground wire at the connector where it plugs into the air mass meter. Any one know how to open up or get access to the pins inside to replace or solder them? Also, aside from disconnecting the negative battery terminal and of course removing the connector from the AMM, are the any precautions advised for the electrical system during soldering?

It may be easier to get a used connector with a few inches of the wires and solder-splice them if you can't get the connector apart.
