Modification to improve heater air flow on 740 700

Hi,

Looking for help on locating an article on a modification to improve heater air flow on 740 series Volvos. I once saw an article which explained how to improve the heater air flow on 740 series, but cutting out some of the plastic to make the air vents larger, so more hot air would be directed to the floor. I thought it was somewhere on the brickboard site, but I have looked and cannot seem to locate it. If someone knows about this modification and has seen the article please let me know where it is.

Thanks,
Richard

It is titled "Improved Heat Distribution", and dated March 1988. From Group 87, Number 12. Time allowance is 0.4 hours, so as Steve wrote, it isn't much of a job to install. Message me if you want a copy.

Volvo has a TSB and a modification kit to add another outlet duct on the driver's side footwell of the 740. You can get both at the local dealer. It's not a hard modification, requiring little chopping and hacking.
