I just had to pay a Volvo dealership $7 per bulb for a glove box light and 3 Rocker Switch Dash lights. They are the little clear bulbs in the black plastic holders. I couldn't find them aftermarket. Talk about highway robbery!!!!

Never under estimate a junk yard. I got a whole fist full of every kind of bulb, plus a fuel gauge, for just $5 at a pick-a-part yard.

If you don't mind doing the work, you can buy a replacement bulb from Radio Shack for about $2. This bulb comes with wire leads. You will have to cut the leads on the old bulb to remove it, insert the new bulb (wires first), and route the new bulb's wires down the outside of the plastic bulb holder and wind these leads around the flat metal prongs that connect to the car's wiring. I did this for two of the dash switches on my 940.

The metal spade lugs will come out of the holder after which you can run the pigtails on the inside of the holder and then solder them. Somewhat more elegant than the wire-wrap method and more likely to last longer.
