... not a mouse but a rhythmic sound of metal rubbing against something, coming from back of car. Has got louder lately and the neighbours are starting to stare and point, daughter now refuses to ride in car. Have had a look under car, tires off etc, but can't see anything wrong. Started after a brake job a couple thousand miles back. Any suggestions?

jack it up and spin the driveshaft---maybe a bum u-joint
