Anyone ever put pre '86 seats in a post '86 car? How'd they look? 200

Normal, imperceptable? Or clearly the wrong shoe on the foot?

Just don't go around telling people about your funny old seats and they'll never notice (NMI) 200

the '86+ seatbacks are slightly taller and the headrests are different.

If I am not mistaken, the shape of the seat back is more "square" in the '86+ cars. It tapers towards the top in the pre-'86 cars.

What's going on here guys? You telling me the pre-86 seats will bolt right up to my 89 with no problems. I know a dealer who has loads of pre 86 seats in his attic, but I thought he told me the frame work and things had to be altered to fit in my 89.

How about changing my front seats to pre 86 and changing the headrests on the back seat to match the front?
