RunningDeer 1963 122S 120-130

Hi, I'm looking to make contact with someone "RunningDeer" regarding 1963 Volvo 122S parts. My cousin Amanda Perkins gave him an old Volvo 122S 3 years ago for parts. Have an engine that runs and misc. parts for free for him if he will contact either me masullivan@taconic.net or Amanda at (860) 672-0816. Thanks!

His name is Mark Williams, and he advertizes on IPD's web site. I would look for him there, under 200/700/900 parts.

Thank you John. My cousin Amanda gave him an old 1963 122S for parts 2 years ago. Her mother recently died and we are cleaning out her barn and the woods by the house where there are old car parts for 122's. There is a motor than ran when it was stored away in a dry shed years ago also that she is giving away. Just wants to find someone who will use the stuff. He came and got the other car so she thought it would be good to offer the free stuff to him. But if he is not interested, if someone wanted to drive to Lakeville, CT the Western part of Ct some weekend they could have the motor which I'm sure would run with some tlc and any of the other odds and ends, radiators, doors, mirrors, light lenses, you name it. We would have to know in advance so we could gather up all the Volvo stuff for someone to look over, take what they want and the rest we will take to the dump or whatever. WE just thought there might be some stuff someone could use and rather give it away. Thanks for your response. I will try him there. If you are interested, just give my cousin Amanda a call at 860-672-0816. Thanks Mary Ann PS We are not looking for someone to haul away our junk, just thought that with all the odds and ends my uncle saved for Volvos, some of it would be of some use to a Vintage Volvo enthusiast.

Ah, Lakeville, CT, home of Paul Newman, Lime Rock, and Skip Barber.

Unfortunately, I'm in Lakeville, MA.... and already have a yard full of Volvos...

Hi Don, I'm familiar with Lime Rock Park also. It's a beautiful track and yes Paul Newman does race there. I live right over the border of Ct. in NY State. Work in Canaan, CT. and do most of my grocery shopping in Gt. Barrington MA and other shopping in Pittsfield, MA so I get around MA a bit. My Aunt, Uncle and cousin have always had vintage Volvos. That is the only kind of car my aunt would drive. In fact her last car a 122 or similar is still in the barn but does need some work, and her daughters aren't quite ready to put it for sale just yet (she only died in Sept. so its a hard thing to do). I guess if you have the time and can find the parts the older Volvos are quite restorable. They really are a well built car. Thanks for your note. Take Care, Mary Ann
