Not so common 240 wagon interior pieces/tan? 200

Hello,

I was owndering if there was anywhere that sold the panels on the rear hatch, back of rear seat floors, tire cover, etc.... in newer tan carpet.. The interior in my car has been sun beatin for years, no tint, and is fading fast..Also my latch in the rear seat to lay the assy. down has snapped off..

You guys know of any awesome online nationwide junkyards i could find all this stuff in tan? Or possibly brand new? My "Cup" on the rear hatch broke off around the opening latch as well...so i can see the license plate lights at all times LOL. alright then everyone thank you very much for your time.

Robert

Robert,

What year are you looking for? I think I have a full set of carpet from an 89 or 90 sedan that we had in the 245 for a while--still looks good. Also have the tan spare tire cover from a 91--matches the carpet pretty well, though slightly more faded. May have the rear hatch panel too--will have to look.

Are your seats leather or velour cloth? I have an entire tan velour interior from our 83 245 GL sitting out in our garage. Back seat fabric is like new, though one of the side zippers is dry-rotted). Also have a tan third seat . . .

I can send pictures if you're interested (e-mail me off line, I'll be out of town for next two days, but will answer ASAP).

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Steve A-

I've got an extra tan "cup". I'll just have to look for it.

Think the fading is common in the tan. Just replaced the whole vinyl tan interior in my 1990 with a black cloth one from a 1993 Wagon found at a pic and pull. Got the whole deal for $100. $50 more if I go back for the door panels. Had to lug the load in a wheelbarrel for 1/2 mile. Washed the carpet at a laundry mat and washed and rebuilt the seats. It looks great now.

I love doing seatectomys to my 240s,my '90 has black cloth interior.I just rebuilt both front seats.I used passenger side foam and lumbar wire support and heat grids. Also added the six way height adjustable frame from a drivers seat to the passenger side.Added a few springs to the seat cushion.
Did you use zipties to put the upholstry back together?
