rear window washer S90-V90

No spray on the rear window of my V90. What are the common failure points? It hasn't worked since I bought the car a month or so ago. There is a T connector near the back left corner of the engine bay that I assume connects the reservoir line. The front washer works fine. There are separate issues with the headlight wiper/washers. Thanks,

Josh

Fixed this on my 94 945,last week, might help.First I made sure I could hear pump[separate,on my car]working, then I found a check valve under the cover to rt rear tail light, hose was plugged[looked like a worm]before valve, ran fluid into jar, tested check valve by plugging it in to hose under hood. Then I had to clean nozzle w/ a pin.
sore fingers twisting those hoses off.

M-m-m this is a new one on me. I believe the front and rear uses the same pump, and certainly the same reservoir, but the rear T-connector may reveal another one-way valve, similar to the front. This would keep the fluid in the tubing and available from the first squirt. Just a guess, but I've never heard of anyone replacing this valve in the rear..but us wagon owners are a a bit rare.

My v90 has a separate pump and control for the rear. Control is on the turn signal stalk. Not sure but I think the rear pump is located right at the reservoir. There is a one valve located in the right rear cubby or behind the light bulb cover.

David,
Thanks for the information. It doesn't surprise me that there's a separate pump buried in there somewhere. And the one-wa check valve makes sense. Now he has two items to check out...
