Car Audio Install 200

I'm installing my audio system and was wondering if anyone had ever hooked up extra batteries to their amp and how they did this. If anyone has any good install websites and would like to share, it'd be appreciated.

Extra battery(s) are a problem waiting to happen. OK for Audio-Demo cars; not good for daily drivers. The recipe for adequate power to your amps is one good battery (biggest CCA model that will fit your tray), a good alternator (your 70 (80?) amp unit is OK), and fat wiring to the amp, with proper fusing. If you're still in doubt, hook up a 1-farad capacitor across the amp terminals to handle the brief spikes of power demand on bass notes.
