my daughter's 87 dies at the stop signs etc. but then seems to be fine.any suggestions? Kris

I had this problem after taking off and cleaning the IAC, the TB and intake manifold and renewing all the vacuum lines, sensors, wiring harness, injectors and seals. Turns out just a small adjustment of the base idle was necessary to keep it from stalling at stop signs and lights.

need more info-does the idle motor work? does the spark quit? does the fuel quit? lotsa variables. dirty throttle body, bad throttle sw, harness breaking up, etc. good luck, chuck.
