Torque Rod Bushings 200 1990

Has anyone tried the two piece urethane torque rod bushings? If so were you happy with the result?

Yes, they are far superior to the OEM Volvo rubber bushing in design an operation. I'm using the red poly ones that I found on ebay, but they're available from other sources. I feel that the rubber bushings are too small, letting the torque rods twist more, thus causing them to wear out faster. I drive my car hard, and had done some autocross events with the old rubber bushings. I think I got about 35-40K from the Volvo rubber ones.

And,

any comparisons between the expensive blue ones from ipd and the economical red ones from FCPGroton?

Thx,
Tom

Yes, put them on the '88 and I'll be using them on all my 240s from now on. Quiet and no noticable difference in vibration.

Yep. Put 'em on 3 240's... over 100K aggregate mileage, no problems.
