Anybody know what this insignia is? Maybe a Fire Company at a Volvo Plant?

Erling to the rescue:
"Brand" = Fire
"Försvar" = Defence

I hardly think it is a badge used by Volvo driving firemen, I would suppose it is an insignia used by one of the plants' own fire brigade. Nice!

I'm a member of the Chile Pepper Institute (part of NewMex State U)
and in their latest bulletin they mention that chiles are becoming trendy
in Switzerland, however more than a drop or so in any dish seems to be a bit
much for them. I suspect the same may be somewhat true in Sweden although
they do have some strong-flavored things, not many of them are hot.
