Flywheel questions 200 1980

Regarding M45 and M46 transmissions, what the minimum and normal thickness for the flywheel? Is it a two-step flywheel?

Several flywheels are used. Early thin ones, then huge stepped ones in 24XTi's. The M47 uses the thick one as do 700T's with M46's. Then there is the issue of indexing for the crank position.
