I just finished installing Bilsteins in my ride and have come to an interesting conclusion... spring rate and the proper shock/strut combo are super important. Now, my 1990 240 rides like a total dream -even in this shitty North Eastern weather. Anyone that says Bilsteins are to harsh probably learned how to drive in a green Pontica Catalina (25' boat of a car)... Lovely, ineed.

Yes, I agree. I am running TMEs and have replaced every possible suspension component, from bushings & ball joints to upgraded sways & strut braces, and the ride is simply awesome. Tons of control. Quick, stable rebounds. Excellent overall upgrade for the money. Peace & love.

Same here, I just scratch my head when a post about "harsh HD Bilsteins" appears. Smooth as goose-grease in my cars.

Yep I've never understood the "too harsh" thing with stock or TME springs either. Now the old IPD springs that was another story, talk about bone jarring.
