Best source for a new or used wiring harness for an 87 245. Mines cracking and falling apart.

We had to go new on my son's 81 and bought from Swedish Engineering. Good experience. The guy we dealt with (Chris) was excellent, but he no longer works there. Now the people to contact are Harry@swedishengineering.com or Phillip at 1-800-928-6586. They'd be worth checking with if you end up going new. The harness we got was made by Volvo, not aftermarket.

The other harness we did came from Dave Barton. He was also excellent to deal with and the harness, even though used, was fine. I think it was about $100 cheaper than new. Like the other posters said, check his website.

Good luck.

Hi,

I highly recommend Dave Barton for wiring harnesses--I got a really nice harness for our 83 turbo from him. Quick delivery, great instructions, everything as--or better than--advertised.

Hope this helps!
