Transmission mount 140-160

Howdy again all...
Getting close to getting the damn M410 in my 145. More on the project when I get it done.

One quickie question though... The transmission mount is only about a year old, and in good shape, but it does sag just a tad. Being that its had and will again have an overdrive, it sits in there almost horizontal. Wondering if it would be best to rotate that mount 180 degrees, or would that cause the rubber to fatigue and break sooner.

Thankya kindly!
-Matt

Do you have old engine mounts? Replacing only one and not the other cause accelerated wear in the new one. It should be replaced as a set. Can't give you an exact answer about rotation, but would suggest replacing it with the engine mounts.

Engine mounts were also new last year, so they should be fine... and they are the stiffer 164 mounts...

All of 'em have less than perhaps 6000 miles. Just that my damn tranny gave up the ghost prematurely (probably no fault but my own).
