Hello All

I have a chance to buy an 88 745ti which may only be good for parts - my question is - are wheels and front seats interchangeable with an 82 245? What other parts my be useful for my 240's if any?

On the other hand I may just get it and see how long it runs till the ECU fails.....

til the ECU fails? That might be a couple of decades. Not too many cases of 541 ECU failure, nor any in the '82 245 either.

very little will interchange. spark plugs, oil filter and wheels come to mind. oh yeah, light bulbs. not worth it. good luck, chuck.

buy a pair out of a 93 240, or rebuild yours. done it a few times. no 740 seat will fit. good luck, chuck.
