15' Ford Ranger Wheels 120-130

I have a set of 15" Ford Ranger Wheels, alloys witht he doe hoof pattern and they seem to fit the wheel studs just fine

I have not mounted tires as yet, but the wheels seem to clear all the brake parts and the fronts turn okay

anyone have these mounted, had any experience with them? recommended tire sizes
I have a brand new set of tires on my stock rims which the tire guys told me was the maximum width for the wheels, they also said it would be the minimum wdth for the 6" wide wheels I am thinking of putting on the car

they seem to fill the wheel well completely which kind of looks cool but I am worried about rubbing the insdie and outside of the inner fenders and any handling and steering problems

I have seen a car with the 14" version of the same wheel mounted and it looks great

thanks for any help

RObert

the wheels are form a late 80's or early 90's car

they come in 2 sizes, 14" and 15"

I have the 15" but i have not installed them as yet, waiting for the snow to melt

I have seen 14" installed which is why I bought these, they look pretty cool and are pretty cheap at $100 a set

Yup... do it up! I had the 15 x 5.5" wheels (Ford made 'em 5.5, 6, and 7" widths) on my 1800 that fit great, offset was just about right. I had 195/65-15 on there, and loved 'em. Keep in mind that the 2wd Rangers had 14" wheels.

Only problem is finding some hub caps that work.... I never found any, but if you can find them nice chrome center caps off the rear of the 4wd Fords, I would think they'd look great.

Just realized that you said you've got alloys... Mine were pressed steel. But I reckon the offset would be the same, so if they clear all the brake bits and such, they shoudl be the same.
