Hello,

I've got a '89 745TI with a oil leak.

It looks like it's the line that comes across the valve cover.
It is inclosed in another tubing to protect it from the heat.

It goes from the large hose coming off the turbo to a connection near the back of the valve cover.

My question: Is this hose a stock diameter or is it a special order?

Any help will be greatly appreciated..

You are sure it is not coming from you oil cap? The ring gets old and dries out, needs to be replaced now and again. If it there isn't any problems with you flame trap make sure it isn't coming from there. Simple things sometimes...

sounds like the hose from the flame trap...and its an air hose..if it has oil in it thats NOT good....you need to check your flame trap, breather box etc NOW..
