Do 960 front seats ('95-96 vintage) fit directly into 740 cars?

I believe the wiring diagrams for the seat heaters are different . Best check the green manual before proceeding

Why? Having owned a 87 760 T & a 96 960, I find both cars to have comfortable seats. The only thing different is there is no level control on the heated seats and the 960 has dual power seats whereas the 760 only had a power driver's seat. Additional considerations to think about is the fact of the power hookup. The 960 has memory on the driver's seat; of course the 760 does not (&740) Some splicing might be in order.

I find the 940/960 leather seats to be much more comfortable than the 740 seats.
