I'm trying to install an instrument cluster from an '86 740 into my '89 744GL. When I start the car, I get some odd behavior -- the idiot lights work, but the turn signal lights remain lit until I use the signals. The temperature gauge works, but the rest just kinda move around randomly.

I suspect grounding problems.

Does anyone out there have a wiring diagram so I can compare the connections and figure out where the missing ground should be?

I could well be mistaken, so wait on a better response, but I don't think it's worth the work.

My 86 clusters are very different than my 88.

Again, I haven't even thought of interechanging them, so await better info.
