What tire pressure? 900

What is the correct tire pressure for a 940 turbo wagon with 16" wheels? I cant find the label anywhere on my car. Ive been using 35psi F&R since I've gotten the car, but I think that's what might be responsible for my harsh ride.

Guess I am running a bit too much air. I'll drop it down to 30/36 and see if the ride improves. Thanks for the pic!!

Always go by the tires recomended pressure not by what Volvo wants, Volvo doesn't know what tire you have on there anymore.

Wrong. Volvo assume that replacement tires will be decent quality and have a pressure rating equal to or higher than the recommendations on the car's tire placard. So use the pressures that Volvo suggest or what your common sense and the advice of tire specialists tell you - WITHIN the tire max rating.

It's the tire manufacturers who don't know the end result of things. So they rate a tire for speed, load, and max pressure and trust that their resellers won't let it get on a vehicle its not suited for.

Tires don't have a recommended pressure, at least none that I have EVER purchased. They have a maximum pressure, and you are never supposed to inflate to maximum pressure.

If the sticker is missing, there's a good chance the car was repainted. If this is of any help the required minumum pressure for my three RWD Volvos (240, 740, 960) was between 28 and 30 pounds. The maximum was around 38 PSI. I was able to achieve good tire wear and a reasonable ride by setting the pressure to 35 psi in all three cars.
