What is proper gap for spark plugs on a B230F

I always thought that the gap was 0.028". Recently however someone said that with Volvo's over 100K miles that it should be spread out to 0.032"

What do you think?

Can't imagine why it would be greater as it ages. I prefer to go on the low end figuring a smaller gap is more likely to fire ie needs less voltage.
