Hi All!
I just wanted to pass on that I found a 70's 142 in a junkyard in Atlanta this past weekend with nearly perfect interior. Blue & Black- 1 crack in dash (pass. side) Seats Look NEW!- Pitting on steering wheel chrome- The car has an auto trans. Gauges intact & look good- Body OK- Most of the trim is still intact.

It will be the 'Henrico' Location.

I beleive that they will sell the whole car- You will have to contact them

    Do they normally have many Volvos at that yard? I'm up in Woostock (no rock concerts here) and wondered if it was worth the drive. You know - to pick up some "bargains" that just can't be passed up.

      They have at least a few of dozen Volvos - and more at the Buford Hwy. (Norcross) Yard- Check the website- they have a list of cars/ years- there are even a couple of 122's at the Henrico Rd. Location- most are 200 & 700 series though
      Also a location in Birmingham, Alabama

    Thanks! What color are the seats? Might be cheaper to have them shipped to me versus reupholstering the ones I have.

      The Seats Are Black w/ Blue inset- Blue preforated vinyl seating area w/ Black around the edges.
      Unfortunately- it's a 'pull it yourself' junkyard- maybe you could arrange something with one the employees...
