    Borla on a 240?

I have a large stainless muffler on my 245, not a borla but a "look alike" about a 4 inch exit...with the center muffler removed and a high flow cat. It is loud..not like a dying dog...But a deep rumble under acceleration and if you down shift to slow down it does the "cackling" thing a little like the old race cars sometimes. (I love that)

I like it (as does the wife) but it's not for everybody it does quiet down some at highway speeds but conversation is strained...and I can ignore the fact that the factory radio is intermitant at best.

On the Wifes 245 I put a 2 & 1/2 in. (?) "cherry bomb" in place of the rear muffler...removed the middle one...it has a higher pitch and is not quite so loud...although you can still hear her comming from a block or two away.

Of course having several allows me to do things that I might not want to deal with on a daily basis. And I have the windows lettered on mine and the wifes to advertise our business so I like to draw attention to them in traffic.

Hope this helps...sound is hard to describe in words and is VERY subject to personal taste.
