Engine for 240 Volvo

I think my son had a disaster in our 1984 Volvo 245 wagon today - clattering and a bang from engine - sounds like it lunched a rod although I haven't seen it yet. Anyone in the Houston area have a good cheap 240 engine to fit?

Jim,

I've got one, but I'm in Newport News VA. B230f from a wagon that rusted out. 172K miles, doesn't use any oil, but probably needs a rear seal.

It meets the good, cheap criteria, but you'd have to come get it. Can send pictures if you like.
