Grease Caps 700 1992

How do you get them off? I went to put struts in the 740 wagon today and got stopped cold by these things. I don't think they've been touched since the car was made. Also, does anyone know where replacements can be had? I've got the feeling that when I do finally get them off I'll have to replace them.

Are you writing about the grease caps on the hubs? If so, leave them on until the front wheel bearings fail.
