urgent: can I pull out the 2 front shock struts(of the front BUMPER) with removing the 2 x 2 bolts attached to the frame and then pulling?? 200

had a minor collison due to snow...

aluminium front bumper is teared off the shock stuts

the 4 lips with which the bumper is bolted to the 2 struts are deformed...

want to replace these 2 stuts with 2 bolts each

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PULL THE SHOCK ABSORBERS OUT TO WHICH THE FRONT BUMPER IS ATTACHED?

i tried but it didnt move, or is there a hidden trick

please help, dont need alternatives; please how can i pull out these 2 struts due to be deformed

    Besides the large bolt on each side (underhood access), there is also a type of "locking collar" accessed from behind the bumper. This collar surrounds the shock tube and holds it to the body with two 12mm hex head bolts.
