Driving my wife's '94 940 turbo wagon this afternoon (for the first time in many weeks) and giving it an "Italian" tune-up, I found that when running around 75-85+ I could hear a whining or whirring sound from the dash, almost as if the speedometer cable was winding up on itself. Has anyone else come across this phenomenon, if so what is the cause/answer to the problem (I assume it being a Volvo it is a problem!)

    Considering it not a cable speedo, that doesn't make much sense. Only thing I hear like that is my turbo winding up during boost.
