Replacement manual OD relays all seem to be blue. The one in my car (if I'm looking in the right place) is silver. The max amps are different to. So either my car is weird or I'm looking in the wrong place (behind the upper dash vents--glove box).

What gives?

You're looking in the right place. If it's never been pulled, it should be mounted horizontally, next to the small silver relay. If it has been pulled, it may be hanging by it's harness behind the vent tubes.

If the silver relay you found is 1" X 1" then you most likely have the up/down relay for the Central Locking System. The OD Relay for the manuals are BLUE as far as I have ever known and are about 2.5" X 1". When you remove the glove box it should be mounted to the center console metal frame to the left of the glove box opening. With that "Silver" relay out see if your Central Locking System works. If it does not work either up or down then you have the wrong relay and you need to keep looking. Good Luck!

Yeah, I've got two silver relays. Maybe the original blue one was swapped with a silver one? The two should be right next to each other, is this not true?
