AC pulley still stuck 200 1989

I'm trying to replace my alternator belt. There's one 13 mm bolt in front and on top of the AC pulley. I loosened that. There a missing bolt/nut in the rear (the mount and swivel are present). I used leverage, but still can't get that AC pulley loose enough to remove the AC belt.

Once you have all the bolts loose, use a pair of locking pliers and pinch the head of the adjusting bolt to its bracket. That will draw the compressor in and allow you to easily slip off the belt.

The identical lock bolt to the one you found is on the rear bracket and hard to see and reach, but you have to loosen both lock bolts. Use a wobble adaptor if necessary. And the adjuster bolt is toward teh driver's side of course on a 240.

There is a long adjusting bolt with a 10mm head on it sticking out toward the passenger side. You;ll need to back it out to loosen the belt
