Radio wiring problem 200 1988

I got a radio out of a 89 244 DL,all the wiring is together but two wires.
There is a connector that has two wires they are orange and black.
Does anyone know what they are for and where are they suppose to hook up at.
If one is suppose to go to fuses please tell me which one and what fuse.
Thank for your help

Radio wiring problem 200 1988

Your best bet if the radio is an original exuipment one is check the wiring diagram for the car it came out of and go by that. If that is not avalible try going to a local radio repair or intsaller and have them sort out the wires for you, It shue beats hooking up power to the wrong wire and frying the radio. Plus this will let you know if the radio is good before you go through the trouble of installing it. Usualy a power wire for most radios is red and the ground is black. A wire that runs or feeds the power antenna would be pink or orange. Wires that have "tracers" are ones that would normaly go to speakers. A wire with a tracer is one that is primairly say black with a white stripe. The stripe is what is refered to as a tracer.
