I'd like to put 240 hood hinges in my 140, because they have that added feature of allowing the hood to be raised to a completely vertical position and lift my engine with a ceiling hoist. They have that little clip that gets flipped and lets the hood go further up. Is it a straitforward fit?

That's a 7-series hood hinge. No, it will not fit.

FWIW, it's only 4-bolts to remove the hood from the hinge, if you really needed that extra room.
