Looking for good deal on tires 700 1986

I need to get some new tires for my 1986 740T "brick".
Current ones are 195 x 60 x 15.
I need some input as to where to go for the best deal.
Also, what other size can be used if need be, for substitution.

Also happy with tirerack (very efficient shipping). They have a section/search engine on their website where you can read comments of users of various tire brands who own yr type of car. After checking these comments I had installed a set of 2 Kumho Ecsta HP4 tires for my newly bought '89 745T in November, then another 2 tires before Xmas. Very good tire at unbeatable price -- handles well light snow, too.

I ordered tires from www.tiretrends.com (Canada & US), and I find they have top-notch service! [no affiliation]

Consumer Reports gave the Falken Ziex ZE-512 top score in their performance tire rating, but I couldn't find them anywhere. Here's the link to the tire on the site:

They have several other tires in your size...

Sam's Club has really good deals. Their tire prices are lower than some but not appreciably. However, you save on mounting and installation and they provide free balancing and rotation for the life of the tires, plus road hazard.
