How much could i expect to pay for an 8 bolt B20?

I think a lot depends on the condition, completeness, and mods (such as radical cam, head work, overbore, balancing, and so on).

A rebuidable core, or a ready-to-go motor?

I paid $275 for a rebuildable '74 B20F core about three years ago, if that's any help.

If you specifically want an 8-bolt, I assume you're planning a big-bore. I advise you against doing a big-bore unless you're prepared to have the head extensively worked over. Just putting in such a kit without head mods is counter-productive.

How much would that head work cost? On your site i see that the standerd head work cost $500, what does that include? I was kind of thinking about doing that kind of head work to my 1800ES coupled with your exhuast manifold and a reworked exhuast system.

Oh, I am not planning on doing anything to my cars. I just have a friend who has an 8-bolt and I just wanted to see how much it would be worth. He has a ton of parts for on 140's, he's striped quite a fw junkers up here in the northwest.

I should include that my car already has the F head?
