Does anyone know where to find a rebuild kit for the older-type single chamber master cylinders? All I need are the rubber parts; I think the cylinder itself is fine and hate to spend $100 on a new one.

By early, do you mean the silver version, with the brake line feeding from the top rear of the fluid reservoir, or the later SES black unit, with the line feeding from the front? Either way, try Kim, at Swedish Treasures http://www.swedishtreasures.com/, located outside of Syracuse, NY on the east coast or my good friend Olof at Vintage Import Parts:http://www.vintageimparts.com/ in Delta, British Columbia.
The former style was used up to chassis number 64859 and the rebuild kit number is 276405. The latter repair kit number is 276461. Even though my Amazon is pre-64859, a previous owner installed the later style master cylinder and brake line to the "T" connector on the dash. Good hunting.
