I pulling my hair out. still no guage lights

Hi all, I have grounded the red wire to alt. the little one and still no idiot lights light up except the seatbelt warning light. Checked all the bulbs, replaced one, still no lights. The car is a 12/89, 760, 143245 miles on it. I can't see any problems with the circuit board. Where does the power come from to light up those lights? All answers will be appreciated. Pauli.

All I can tell you is from '93 940 diagram. Power comes via BL/R wire to pin 4 of a 4-pin plug. Just past the plug connection is a fuse on the panel itself. On the 940, this +12 volts is for everything.

Maybe some others will ring in now.
