M47 Linkage HELP 200

I'm taking the transmission out of my 1989 240. The linkage between the shift lever and the gear selector on the transmission is giving me problems. It's all rusted together. Tonight I had to drill out the lock screw after I stripped it. And this is after soaking overnight with PB Blaster. After drilling it out, I still can't get the pin out. I've tried everything I can think of.

Am I missing something? Anyone have any good tricks or tips?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

You can just pull the trans with the shifter attached, and then perhaps work on it out of the car where you can get a better angle on it.
The shift lever will pull out through the floor- if needed you can pull the shift knob off the lever to slip it out easier.

Last one I did I had to spray PB Blaster several times a day for a week before it would budge.
