fuel pump relay? 900

Hi all,
My 94 940 (NA w/regina) wouldn't start today. She had been running sluggish the past 2 or 3 days under accelleration and up hills. When it wouldn't start today I thought to myself, well I'm glad I have a new fuel pump relay in the glovebox. So i open the access to the relays, and I do not see where the mate to the white relay I have in my hand is. Once I had the car home I consult brickboard FAQ's to see what my problem is. The problem seems to be that my car has a hole in the board where the FPR should be. The car has spark and would run shortly when I put some starting fluid into the intake, so I have a fuel problem. I haven't checked the fuel filter but will replace in the morning. Where does the FPR go? Sorry for the ranting ramble, but I hate it when things are not where they should be.

Thanks,

Palmer

fuel pump relay? 900

it is more common to regina cars to have the fuel pump fail instantaneously than the relay. I would check both. as far as the relay according to my service manual in '93 the relay was the white one you are thinking of pn3523608 in 94 the relay changed to pn9130270 it has been a long time, but as far as I remember the mounting position also changed to the right kick panel near the center of the dash. ....hope the info helps....good luck
