'91 940 Timing Belt Issues 900

I recently aquired a '91 Volvo 940 GLE with the 16 valve DOHC engine. I need to change the timing belt because I do not how many miles it has on the belt. None of the parts stores here in town have any Volvo repair manuals, and I need to get this done this weekend if possible. I need a diagram or a detailed decription of where the cam marks should be in relation to the crank at TDC. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Be very carefull you line everything up correctly... this IS AN INTERFEREANCE DESIGN engine. Not like the B230f.

Also replace the oil pump pulley bolt while at it, they snap, 6$ at the dealer.

Make sure tensioners (both timing and balance shaft) are in good shape.

I suggest you also replace the balance shaft belt, or just remove it completely.

    Enjoy,
