Help! Hoses for vacuum reservoir for cruise control 200 1989

Hi,
I'm installing a cruise control in my 89 240 with a system I pulled from our totalled 240. From my manuals, any 86-89 240 should be the same system. I didn't pay enough attention to the hose routing on the reservoir and "pump". First, do I need vacuum from the engine or is this really a pump? If so, where should I tap in?

The pump has two fittings- one is "servo", I'm assuming this goes up to the dash, the other is labeled vacuum. What do I hook it to? The reservoir has one fitting. What does it hook to?

I just need a quick summary of how to hook this up. I think I have the electronics under control.

Thanks!
