Hi all...

A while back I saw an add for an 81 intercooled 242 turbo. The owner (since 83) swore the intercooler was original, either factory or dealer installed. Was this an option in 81?

the intercooler was available in a kit around 82 or so. the first factory installs were the 83 flathoods. good luck, chuck.
