Sticky Temp Guage 200 1993

If you bang on the acrylic panel, the guage will operate and sometimes it decides to operate flawlessly on its own, but I'd like to get it working properly all the time. I know how to take the instrument panel out to replace lights. Can someone give me some guidance from there to deal with this intermittently operating guage.

Sticky Temp Guage 200 1993

I just fixed mine, by taking it out and removing the temp copenstaing board. Once it was out, I scraped my finger nail on all of the metal contacts and reinstalled the compenstating board carefully making shure that it was making full contact. I can't belive I drove the car for two years with this problem and it only took me 10 minutes to fix it. I wonder how many people have actually replaced a good temp board when they could have just done this one simple thing. Good luck and post back as say wheather or not it worked for you.
