Virgo Center Caps quite loose 200 1984

I just put a set of virgos on my 84 245. They look great my only concern is that 2 of the center caps are quite loose. I understand that this is a known problem b/c the plastic tabs wear out.

Does anyone have any ideas how to make them fit more snug, short of using glue or silicone?

Thanks
Marty

Yeah, I wrap the friction fit part with a couple of layers of black electricians tape. Seems to work for a long time, and they come out when you need them out.

Electrician tape or duct tape cut to fit around the inner edge will "build up" the cap enough that it will stay snug....

Around each separate tab, or "full circle" around the cap?

Erling.

I used masking tape - same concept - around the perimeter.
