Service Manual & windshield washer 700 1989

I have an '89 740 GL wagon. Will the Haynes 82-88 service manual work with my car? How do I get the windshield washer lines hooked up correctly? I can hear the pump working OK--at least it's making noise.

    Haynes have got to be the worst manuals in the world. No information is better than wrong information!

    Simply follow the hoses backward from the nozzles.
    Typically, the check valve plugs-up, replace it with a regular Tee.
    There is also a check valve for the rear located near the taillight access on the right {passenger} side. Pull up the storage panel and follow the hose.
