can i put in sway bars from a wagon to a sedan? 200

Can i put in sway bars from a regular(non turbo)1985 245 into my non turbo sedan(1982)

Any benefits??

because when i'm driving the wagon i can definately corner way better. I hope maybe the prvious owner put in ipds or something..or maybe they are thicker

thanks in advance

unless the wagon has been upgraded the rear sway will be smaller.(16mm vs 19mm) this would be a downgrade for the sedan. could be another reason why the wagon handles better. have you checked out all your bushings?

my rear bushigns are all shot. I've been thinking of replacing them...but the issues that others have had..withthem has made me postpone it till later.

They will fit, but why not measure first? you can use an adjustable wrench and a ruler. I know the rear bar on my '82 turbo was much thinner than the bar I got off a 240 turbo sedan. Perhaps there are other reasons besides the sway bars that the wagon you drive corners better.

i have a feeling there are other reasons as well. I just thought perhaps the sway might be one of them(hopefully):)
